Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where are Pyon's terms and conditions?
A: The full terms and conditions for Pyon are available here.
Q: Why are you called "Pyon"?
A: We wanted a name that was fun and had some connection to anime and gaming, so we went for something that was similar to the sound effect made by any cute, possibly magical mascot in many popular anime and games.
Q: How do you pronounce "Pyon"?
A: The pronunciation of "Pyon" is "piyo-on" not "pie-on." One syllable, not two!
Q: What race or species or type are the characters in your logo?
A: The PAGU dragon is, well, a dragon! But more specifically, he's a baby shadow dragon. Chara is a mysterious girl who has many secrets... Even we haven't found out everything about her yet.
Q: What were the reasons for choosing the characters you have in the logo?
A: Again, we wanted something that represented or had some connection to anime and gaming, so we thought about all the popular archetypes that showed up in our favourite anime and games and came up with Chara and the PAGU dragon. Chara is meant to represent every nameless, silent hero ever to appear in a video game (even her name is a play on the word "character"), and the PAGU dragon represents the cute, cuddly mascot in most anime.
Q: Are Chara's ears real?
A: She's not telling.
Q: Does Chara have a tail or tails?
A: No.
Q: Who made the website?
A: The Pyon website, web banners, logo, and website graphics were created by J. Tay.
